A MASSILLON CASE.Th« Answer FI ted in the Suit of Gilbert N.Porter,Canton, April 1?.—Lawyer Wm. Me-Millan, representing, the defense in thecase of R. A, Pinn against Gilbert N. Porter, Rosanna Forter, and Henry V. and Jennie Kramer, has filed an an* swering petition. The defendant, Henry Kramer, for bis first defense denies that he conspired with Gilbert N. Porter to cheat or defraud the plaintiff or other creditors of the said Porter. He did, nowever, buy a lot from Porter for which he paid $1,400, and denies that he holds said property in trust for the benefit of the creditors of Gilbert Porter. At the time of the sale it was agreed that Porter could secure the property again by paying $1,400 without interest. Porter then agreed to pay Mr, Kramer $10 rent per month as long as he occupied the property. He has neither paid the $1,400, nor the rest, therefore the defendant prays the court to ascertain the amount due and render judgment in theamount against Gilbert N. Porter.
