Creditors and others holding demands or debts on the late merchant John Cairns of Kelso are notified to send particulars of their claims to Meili Walker Dickson and Hagpie, trustees. Debts owing at the time of his death should be paid promptly to the trustees or face legal action.

It notes past success, urges liberal contributions, and invites five guinea subscriptions to be paid to treasurer Adam Fairholme in Edinburgh.
