Fatal accident on Old Bar Road in Gloucester district
Mr Ronald Gresham aged 27, a Stratford resident near Gloucester, died from head injuries after a motor crash on Old Bar Road near the Aboriginal Mission Station. His companions included Leslie Gresham and Gloucester men Frank Bowen, Keith Whatson, Don Mills, and Rudolph Loreton. Loreton drove the other car. An inquest will be held at Taree Courthouse. Funeral services were held in Taree and Gloucester amid community mourning.
