Annual School Picnic at Allton Public School Grounds
The Allton public school held its annual picnic on the old school ground under shade trees on Batundiay the 16th. Weather prophets predicted clear skies with light southwest breeze, attracting many visitors from nearby centres. Events included several children’s races with winners named, and adults enjoyed throwing at the wicket before evening.
