On the 26th of March the House of Elizabeth Hughes of Ballymourry Wexford was entered by unknown persons who assaulted her with a bayonet, robbed the house and stables of linen and clothes, and she died from wounds. The Lord Lieutenant offers fifty pounds reward for the first two culprits apprehended and convicted, plus a pardon for others who aid in capture if they were not the attackers.
