Proclamation on Murder at Tralee Goal Fugitives Named

The Lords Lieutenant and Council of Ireland publish a reward for capture of John Plannell Bartholomew Shea Patrick Hellen James McNamara James Sughrue James Collinge Anne Cody Michael McElfigott John Meaghan James Machin William MeCurdy Patrick Breen James Supple the Younger John Murrinane John Sullivan and Mary Sullivan for murder and associated felonies at Tralee Goal. Fugitive list includes descriptions and near twenty names. rewards of fifty pounds per captured convict, with twenty pounds for aiding capture, plus potential pardon for informants. Authorities urge officials and public to assist in apprehension and prosecution. Given in Dublin August 8 1786. God Save the King.

Proclamation Against Armed Rioters in Cork Limerick and Kerry

A proclamation issued by the Lord Lieutenant and Council of Ireland in Dublin on June 2, 1736, denounces gatherings in Cork Limerick Tipperary and Kerry where armed men coerced peaceable subjects. It names William Quith Bryan O Donnel Oliver Casey Doyle Kennedy Denis Dillen the elder Denis Dilles the younger James Ryan John Liddin Denis Ditlea the elder and Denis Dallee the younger as alleged offenders, offers rewards for their apprehension, and commands officials to enforce the law and protect the crown's peace. The proclamation also promises a royal pardon to informants and imposes duties on magistrates sheriffs and officers to pursue the culprits.

Reward offered for discovery of House of Hughes murder

On the 26th of March the House of Elizabeth Hughes of Ballymourry Wexford was entered by unknown persons who assaulted her with a bayonet, robbed the house and stables of linen and clothes, and she died from wounds. The Lord Lieutenant offers fifty pounds reward for the first two culprits apprehended and convicted, plus a pardon for others who aid in capture if they were not the attackers. Authorities urge diligence. given at Dublin Council Chamber March 1786.

In Tarbert County Kerr, letters reveal two arson incidents on the night of August sixth. a Stable owned by Michael Langan and a house owned by Edward Leslin were set ablaze. Rewards of one hundred pounds are offered for the first three convictions, with the promise of royal pardon for discoverers. authorities urge swift apprehension before February.

Attorney Edward Leslie of Tarbert offers a reward of fifty pounds for information leading to the identification and prosecution of any persons offending in Tarbert. The notice is dated August 14, 1786 and promises prosecution upon conviction.

Proclamation Offer Reward for Cullenley Bank Robbery Suspects

By the LORD PPENART and COUNCIL of IRELA proclaim a reward for discovery of the five intruders who robbed John Brogan of Cullenley Weltmeath on April 8 and shot at him. Up to 100 pounds to the first three discoverers with conviction, with pardon for the felon. Authorities urged to arrest and prosecute all involved.
