Murderers Still At Large Reward Offered In Dublin Case

A broad public reward is declared for the apprehension and conviction of the murder suspects in an August 1786 Dublin case. Names of accused include John ODonnell Bartholomew Haugman James Ne Nimara and others. The notice urges locals to assist authorities and promises fifty pounds for each convict. Also offers twenty pounds for information leading to recapture escapees from goal. A royal pardon is promised to those who reveal others. The proclamation calls all officials to aid in pursuit and warns against harboring offenders.

Proclamation on Peace and Safety by Lord Lieutenant Council

Reward offered for capture of Elizabeth Hughes attackers

Lord Lieutenant and Council of Ireland offer rewards for information leading to conviction of the night attack on Elizabeth Hughes of Bale Aymaghen de Goan of Wenfota Widow. A payment of fifty pounds is promised for each of the first two offenders apprehended and convicted, plus a potential royal pardon for the principal offender. Authorities urge vigilance and designate officials to aid in apprehension before September 10.
