The Dublin Journal Pillorys Harry Caretess and Library Oddities
Grence Faulkner notes four packets arriving with scarce foreign news. The piece recounts Harry Caretess, favored by Sir Jasper Truby, and a breakfast at his home revealing his odd habits and a memorandum of his life. A panel of items describes his library, scarce curios, and a diary detailing social engagements, with commentary on Sir Tintel Wormius and bookselling.
