Those Ladies and Gentlemen who held private Boxes or possessed Season Tickets for the Winter Season, which ended January 4, are to be informed of their right of admission to the Theatre on that night. May 7.
The manager announces engagements from Covent Garden Liverpool and Lomburg theatres for the ensuing after-season. Lewis will debut as Vap id in the dramatist Neville and perform Mondays Wednesdays and Fridays. Uncle Don Murray Stewart also join, with Road to Ruin and Notoriety in rehearsal for premiere and tickets urged for noble patrons.
May 19 1391 notice states gentlemen admitted before January 1 are subject to this year's subscription requirements for the club.
Notice to holders of old debentures and warees that the Treasury Office at 9 Clare Street will reopen each Saturday from 1 to 3 pm for collection with interest. All payments cease from that day. Redeemable at midsummer and Christmas.
A late 18th century notice advertises RESLAW's NEW CAPITAL PERFORMANCES at Capel Street, featuring NOVEL exhibitions and illusions. Highlights include a Plymouth Sound view by moonlight, a storm and shipwreck scene, and a dramatic display with a silver cup illusion. Performances begin at eight with box places from noon.
Meath county officials set a June meeting at Royal Exchange to fix tolls for two weeks from July on the Dublin Navan road. Police urge carriage drivers within seven miles of Dublin to keep left and let other carriages pass on the right with penalties for violations.
The Dublin commissioners publish warnings against building within a specified distance of the Grand Canal between Artichoke Road and Harcourt Lock to protect tolls. Proposals for street lighting and paving are invited, with details on lamps, globes, and contracts, to be submitted by June 30 and opened in the Board’s office at 1 o clock.
From the London Gazette May 5 reports the Queen of Naples safely bearing a prince named Albert and Gastiano. Dated May 16 Paris notes the Princess of Paray and Prince Maximilian arriving and receiving benediction with a grand court gala. Intelligence states Bavay near Valenciennes fell to Austrians, 108 prisoners taken.
The king declares all subjects must not accept commissions from foreign princes to arm ships or act as privateers against any state allied with the Mot Christian King. Violators face severe penalties and restitution. The notice cites Versailles treaty terms and directs conformity across dominions. Also notes military promotions in May 1792 and London Gazette end.
M Cenfanne denounces the King s letter as unconstitutional and questions the Austrian Committee and its chiefs Medici Bertrand Montmarin as alleged faction leaders. Buffet backs him with a lengthy speech accusing the leaders of sacrificing colonies and France. The Assembly orders both speeches printed and refers the accusation to the Committee on Supersendance Legislation and Dolooay.
In Treaspay on May 24 M Boetard opened discussion on disturbances by fanatic priests. A citizen claimed a dreadful plot against his family. The Assembly endorsed Guadet's view that transportation be used for priests who refused the Civic Oath, to be further legislated at a future meeting.
Paris dispatch reports turmoil over M Larivicee affair and royal court ferment as generals plan campaigns independently. Mentions Ney suspected queen’s complicity and ministers partly sidestepped, with Rochambeau Luckner and Lafayette meeting at Valencia ennes to decide strategy. New tensions surface at Palais Royal and Thuilleries amid war council secrecy.
