Seminary for Young Ladies Education Opens May Next

Announcement of a new seminary for young ladies by Mrs Lawler at No. a Montmid Street between North Cape and Lower Gardiver streets opens Monday May ther with instruction in English French Italian history geography astronomy writing arithmetic and more. First thirty pupils pay twenty guineas yearly quarterly in advance. additional charges apply for music drawing dancing with specialists named Messrs Blewitt Magnire and Mlle St Pierre. Mr Grattan opens a lengthy discussion on Catholic emancipation in Britain and Ireland. He argues for civil liberty and security for Protestants, rejects the veto, and urges a committee to consider securities that protect the Protestant church while allowing Catholic participation under safeguarded conditions.
