The notice announces a public auction of lands in Galway County, about one hundred acres, in the possession of Thomas O Dea. The bid date is May 2 at 2 PM, with sale conditions under a 3 year tenure from November 1. The adjourned date is May 20. Dated April 13, 1618.
Notice by John Higginbotstam of insolvency petition filed in the Majesty's Court of Exchequer Ireland. Schedule sworn, seeking discharge from creditors under Acts for relief of insolvent debtors. Public hearing set for May 5 1918. lists dozens of creditors and assignees across Kilmainham Nottingham and surrounding areas.
The House of Commons debated the New Churches Bill with a recommitment and amendments on pensions for Navy and army widows, and a revised Cotton Factories Bill. Lyttleton pressed for pension adjustments. Peel adjusted factory labor terms for under 9 to 11 hours and set January 1 1819 as start. Lords resumed without further action on pensions, Lansdowne noting compassion list affidavits and related hardship.
Members debated whether navy pensions and purchase of commissions should mirror army rules noting officers in the navy contribute from pay and the issue of costs. The Marquess of Lansdowne said in the navy others contributed, and the discussion adjourned on Friday.
