Conviction of Mr Hunt at York on Sedition Charge

The York court delivered a special verdict finding Hunt and Johnson and several others guilty on the fourth count for unlawfully assembling with the aim of inflaming discontent against the Government. The jury acquitted six others on all counts. Sentencing to follow at King's Bench next term with sureties to keep the peace for six months.
