House adjourned after other orders.
The Bishop of Bath and Wells presented petitions from dioceses urging no further concessions to Roman Catholics. Lords debated receipt and tone of such petitions, with objections to intolerant language and consideration of the Scotch Jury bill and Spring Guns Abolition bill proceedings.
