Naples Sicily Reports of Revolt and Austrian Deployments

Accounts from Naples on the 13th describe ongoing revolts in several provinces. A mobile force led by a priest named Blais has been sent to disperse malcontents, while arrests continue for those linked to the July revolts in Nolo Avellino and Monteforte. A second Austrian expedition of 4000 men heads to Sicily to seize Messina Syracuse Noto and Catania. First expedition troops are split among Palermo Trapani and Agrigentum. In London the Lords debated public expenditure with an Earl of Darnley motion and an amendment pledging retrenchment while preserving rights.
