City officials in regalia visit Castle for royal audience

Yesterday the Lord Mayor, Recorder and aldermen led a procession from the City Assembly House to the Castle. A band played the Havonal hymn as pages followed. In the Grand Audience Chamber the Duke of Richmond and Duchess received them with hospitality. The Recorder read the city address and praised the Prince Regent's Protestant Principles.
