Dreadful battles and political dispatches from distant wars

A muddled early 19th century letter stream reports on battles near Truxillo between Spaniards and Bolivar's forces, with observations from Boston and London. It notes Bolivar's retreat, Canterac's movements, and later corrections from The Globe and Traveller, plus commentary on Peruvian campaigns and European reactions to South American independence. Concerns about accuracy, dates, and ship delays color the reports.
