Indictment of Thomas Wade over Hatton-garden Watch-house conduct

Thomas Wade, keeper of Hatton-garden Watch-house, is charged for refusing John Lodge admission and failing to provide care, leading to Lodge's death from neglect. Lodge, ill and seeking relief near St Dunstan's, was taken to the watch-house but died after accompanying Wade and two watchmen toward Cross-freet.

Inhumanity Charge in Fatality Case at Lon don Court

A man aided by Wade caused the death of a poor stranger after abandoning him in cold conditions. The wounded man was taken to St Dunstan's and died. a surgeon could not determine the exact cause. The jury found the defendant guilty of a crime of inhumanity and the court planned further consideration of punishment.
