It pledges adherence to national creed supporting a commercial king and government reform to improve schools, agriculture, and morals. It appeals for exertions to promote the Majesty's service and welfare of Ireland.
A chaotic late 18th century crime note from County of Galway details a brutal home invasion. Three men armed with gun pistols and bayonets stormed a steward’s room, assaulted occupants, and looted silverware, dishes, linens, and valuables as guards watched outside. The document names Edmund Ryvan and Blanchfield and outlines a reward and pursuit by local officials.
