A dated royal proclamation from February 1810 declares protection for the islands of Feror and Teeland and Greenland settlements from British seizures and war actions. It orders non-interference by British forces with local trade and inhabitants, and instructs naval authorities to enforce peaceful relations while inhibiting offenses against residents or property. The notice includes that coasts of Whitehaven and Workington report wages and duties.
