Stock Exchange Meeting on Allocation of Proceeds
The Stock Exchange gathered at 1 o'clock to hear the Committee on appropriation of gnovay held by Trappers and others claimed as their property from February purchases in Omnium and Console. Sir S Romilly and eminent lawyers advise that claimants have no right to the property and it is at the Subscribers disposal. A Select Committee will be appointed to decide distribution among charitable invitations.
