The Crowded Ledger of 1740 Books and Auctions
A dense 18th century catalog page records upcoming publications and public sales. It lists Bayle’s Dictionary enlargements, biographies, and histories, with printers and sellers in Dublin, London, and Cork, plus a long notice of land auctions in Ireland. The document notes sale dates, parcel sizes, rents, and conditions, including a forthcoming sale of estate lands and household goods with notes on timetables and bidders.
