A dividend of three per fide will be made to the proprietors of bank stock on and after Monday the 3d of January. Bank transfer banks will be there from the present instant until Monday the 3d of January next.
The Commissioners announce they will borrow the sum of 1000 pounds sterling on debentures bearing interest not exceeding 1 percent per year under a recent act. Persons willing to advance all or part of the money should write to Mr Thomas Sherrard at his Cape Street office. Dec mm 17g0. By order of the Commissioners Ho Sherrard.
At the English Academy Cathedral Lane on December 30 1790 a public examination awarded Premium to Masters Reilly Burton Nun Southwell Baily James Bournes Stephens Browne Gibbs Seay Boileau Cillau and Talbot in Infant class. Certificates of equal merit were given to Coghlan Morris Fitz Bre Wilson Buchan Murphy Wray Ilkinson fone Coghlan jun Cullidon Walker Brenan jun and Wilson jun.
At Dawson Street School under Rev Mr Martin an examination recorded many students earning primes. Names include M Neill O Maley Thomas Smyth White Byrne Fitzgerald M Neill jun Fitton Fitzgerald M Kay Morgan Williams M Kay jun Parkinson Bourfigut O Malley Cattrey Peacock Morgan Patra Anthony Singleton King Shuldham Scriven. Vacation ends January 16 1791 and Mr Martin will present a diary to Encoi Mastin whose abilities will withstand scrutiny.
Thomas Harding of Meath-street informs friends and public that he has leased a commodious room in Trinity Place near Trinity-street and Dame-street to open a school next January. The building, recently expended, suits a academy, boarding facility, or any business needing space and can accommodate twenty boarders.
