Theatre-Royal Apology For Recent Discontent 1814

The Proprietors of the Theatre-Royal appeal to the public after recent discontent. They state Manager Rock failed to obtain a hearing and explain that during Lord Lieutenant visits no public announcements are made from the stage. They hope a liberal public will forgive any perceived neglect and protect their property. December 21, 1814.

Theatre riot over Jones at the cabinet of 1814

Rioters forced the theatre to abandon the performance after the Lord Mayor and sheriffs failed to summon Mr. Jones. The audience demanded Jones amid shouting and vandalism, with later disturbances continuing the next night as police restored order and a party member was jailed then released on bail.

Trial and tempest mark Dublin court and Irish coast

The Court of King's Bench ruled in favor of the Bankers Company over Bankrusney in a long trial against Lord French.
