Funeral Observances Across the Metropolis Honor Her Late Majesty

Yesterday, Manchester observed the queen’s death with public closures of banks, markets, and offices. Nearly all processions moved westward toward the service, with many carriages and coaches filling streets, mourners filling churches, and departments adjourned after the nine o clock opening of the Old Bailey.
