Admission of Invalid Soldiers to Dublin Hospital
Notice from the Committee of Governors of the Royal Hospital Dublin calls for the admission on September 15 at his Majesty's Castle of Dublin of one invalid soldier from each regiment, to be selected by officers with proper certificates. It directs those admitted to go to the hospital rather than the pension, and warns regimental agents to inform their men accordingly. Also advertised are auctions and land sales in Galway, Sligo, and Fermanagh, plus stock listings, a parliamentary vacancy in Waterford, and various notices on linen and flaxen manufactories with penalties for noncompliance.
