In Dublin Castle during June 1785, reports indicate Levees at the Castle will be discontinued and new orders issued. The fragment notes changes in courtly ceremony and official protocol at the castle, with reference to upcoming regulations.
An old notice lists Sir Arch Mastarcasin and Mr Mackling with performances in Kingdon. Sir Callaghan O Brallaghan and Mr hrmene are billed with a song. Tickets and plates are available from Mr Johnstone and Mr Mara near College Green and Mr Pope at No 18 College Green.

A garbled notice claims Mr Macpherson, a teacher of the deaf and dumb, has forged a regular apprenticeship with his uncle, the Red Wood. It notes procedures for readers to contact Mr Hacker and mentions Brandwood’s removal to London, with English gentlemen supporting an antiquity of pool.
In Navan on August 1 1785 a meeting of gentlemen freeholders resolved unanimously that Hamilton Gorges be made chair. They instructed their representatives to present a petition to Parliament and sent thanks to High Sheriff Henry Codd Pigeon for his role. John Elgu was thanked for his secret gates services and the meeting pledged support to pension measures and the authority of Dublin.
Moore's Cheese Warehouse No 44 Essex Street advertises new imports including Keb eRrtak Congr ofatior Quality bottled in England and a choice assortment of Bayonne and Westphalia hams French fruits pickles new olives and cheeses. She promises low prices for ready money and a broad variety for friends and customers.
RANELAGH announces a public evening on Tuesday in August in response to a kindly requested token of appreciation. The proprietor hopes a distinguished honor may be conferred and notes outstanding tickets dated July will be admitted. The tone reflects courtesy and optimism despite prior difficulties in continuing service.
A Dublin assembly on Prasy 22 1785 urges Hartley Warren and city Aldermen to press Parliament to prevent a proposed permanent commercial regulation between Great Britain and Ireland. The address warns of disruption and seeks delay to avoid alarms and a potential loss of independence. Lord Mayor and sheriffs reply. Warren expresses concern over misrepresentation and assures readiness for measured reform within lawful limits. Irish State Lottery notice included.

On August 7 1785 a charity sermon will be preached at Powes parish church by Rev Thomas Cradock A M to support sick and superannuated poor. The aim is medicine and occasional work allowances to aid those in health and distress with funds managed by Rev Michael Sandys and Mr Thomas Dowis and overseer in Powestcourt.
By the Right Hon James Horan mayor of Dublin a public sale yard is opened on Bonhim Street near Whomizs-tisder for receiving goods to be exposed for sale on the day of Dublin. Daily attendances at the weigh house in fair yard conducted by Josker Anbitewe the duly appointed weigh master. Terms and penalties for illegal weigh or sale after July 5. Public order issued under FIVION secretary.
A public notice records a session held in Dublin on Friday the 3rd day of April when the chief magistrate toured the city bounds. It notes the aim to prevent excessive attendance by the lower orders and protect manufacturing livelihoods, signed by Vayegra and Allen, Town Clerks.
