Dublin lamp contractors at John Bray's and Co seek complaints on neglect of duty by lighters and bogie/ gentlemen commands for lighting private globes serving globe heads glazes burners etc. Groceries wines spirits offered on reasonable terms spermaceti refined and common rape train and limp oils cheaper than other houses in Dublin.
The Original Transfer Office informs all persons dealing in Government Draen Tuned Theology Bins Bank Stock that they may buy or sell at fair terms. Applicants may transact at the Paid Office without property being advertised for sale to avoid deprecation of stock value. An 1787 report details Solomon Tuck being executed at Ely for the wilful murder of John Saunders by casting him into Wisbech River. The account describes their February quarrel, Saunders drinking, the attempt to drown him, and the brutal wounds found on the body. Witnesses allege Tuck proposed the crime for gain, with plans involving Major Richardson and others. Tuck pleads innocence but is found guilty. his final remarks and penitent conduct are noted, along with a postscript letter dated April 6, 1787 expressing sorrow and family concern.
A cabinet maker, about 40, writes a sorrowful farewell letter to family and friends from Ely, seeking mercy and warning against bad company. He mentions salvation, warns loved ones, asks Solomon to carry messages, and describes his modest clothing and last wishes as he awaits death tomorrow.

The horse Horfe XANTHUS lands from England and will cover mares at Naas this season for a Guinea and Wulf a Crown per mare. Payment due at service. He stands near 14 hands, dark chestnut, with substantial bone and strength. pedigree available in the groom’s hand.
Lottery, a fifteen hands two inch high horse, is said to be sired by Goldfinder with Dam by Tartar and a long line of grand and great grand dams including Parmer Wondenck Croft's bay Barb Makeless. The stallion is well known to gentlemen of the Tort and believed to be likely occipital Hunters.
By the LORD Lettre Antay of TRELAND a proclamation detailing the murder of Patrick Hands in Tralee. It lists suspects including John O'Donnell Bartholomew Shea Patrick Heffernan James McNamara James Sughrue Anne Cody and others and offers fifty pounds for capture and conviction with twenty pounds for others who escaped. Names, descriptions, and rewards published by the Lord Lieutenant and Council of Dublin urging pursuit and prosecution before February next. Signed at the Council Chamber in Dublin on August 9 1786.
