The Commissary General invites proposals for supplying fuel and candles to British forces in Ireland from June 25, 1817 to June 24, 1818. Proposals must be on printed forms, filed by May 9, prefer Dublin residents, with security, and must cover entire counties. Submit to War Office Dublin Castle or via post with proper marking.
Advert says emigrants must provide names to Mrs. Marquis at Benon-Quar Destin and notes ships will sail next month for ports in Ireland where fares are moderate. Government will not grant distanced aid in Canada to those not embarked by June 1. Details via postpaid letter to Wm. Mangos. About 14,600 tickets issued.
In Stackialm on March 27 the Maratef court banished a foreign subject, ordering him to leave the capital within three days. The Journal called The Union ceased to appear, and a pamphlet on the Lord of March 1817 was suppressed by the editor amid political suppression.
