Siege of Mons Ends in High Allied Capitulation Terms
From the London Gazette dated Oct 15 to Oct 21, a detailed surrender of Mons to the High Allies is announced. The Gates of Nim are to be opened, garrison troops to march out, and the city to be delivered up within eight days if relief does not arrive. Articles grant religious freedom, surrender conditions, prisoner arrangements, and protections for sick and wounded, with officers allowed to retire to Namur or beyond.
