News of Allied and Spanish Army Movements and Battle Report
Madrid reports a shrinking Allied force with 3000 men and 2000 mounted corps under Stanhope moving toward Avreda to forage. A French Royal narrative describes Staremberg marching to Navarre, King Charles and Stanhope toward Madrid, and Navarre towns submitting. The Spezin battle near Zaragoza ends in a Spanish victory with heavy enemy losses, 6000+ killed, many prisoners, and 15 standards captured.
