Provisions to boil for the crew and keep the steep tub in good order. The hospital ship to receive a physician an experienced surgeon four mates and six men assistants a surgeon’s servant a baker and four washermen. The captain to supply fresh provisions and meat and supervise patient care.
WTHEREAS divers Persons through Ignorance or Care defach frequently put Letters into the General Post Offices in the Country divided on board. The notice warns against improper posting and urges proper use of postal offices to ensure delivery.
Notice warns that no letter under the cited circumstances may be forwarded. It lists outgoing Ireland mail to France Holland and Mandersbawe via the Post Office wage, and details postage payments for Scotland, Feque, Hettaud, and Flanders. Sent by Sir Marmaduke Wyvill.

This 1742 notice from Dublin presents Edward Exshaw and Company detailing a plan to cancel erroneous pages in a forthcoming work. It includes promises to provide amended pages to every customer and to supply an Errata table at the end, plus prefixed letters advising Exshaw and the translator for readers’ benefit.
Creditors of the plaintiff Henry Barry who hold book debts are required to attend the House of Mr Michael Nowlan in Hoey’s Court, Dublin, to prove their demands and the nature of them by personal interrogatories lodged for the purpose. Defendants Edward Madden Newone Ban the Na Sir Compton Domvile Bart and Richard Winpfield Ef are summoned to provide particulars of mortgages judgments bonds or notes claimed as part of the case.
Notice from Dublin Castle dated Oct 26 1742 seeking proposals from individuals or parties to continue the linen manufacture for seven years from Christmas. Proposals must be delivered to the Linen Office in Dublin Castle between now and Nov 1. Sign'd by order.
At the great Ware-House Marlborough Street an auction offers the stock in trade of the late Mr Geors Feliter. The collection includes paintings china toys cabinet work sword blades fowling pieces pistols maps prints mezzotints and more. Catalogues will be published and given free. The sale begins Thursday November 1st and continues until all sold. A large quantity of old wine morel and other items will also be offered wholesale or retail at reasonable rates. Enquire of Mrs Feltter at the said Ware House.
In London a brigantine called Dustin Mancna R N commanded by John Thomas is ready. She carries 120 tons and 12 guns with a well manned crew. She will sail for the above port to deliver mail and beacon duties to Mr Alexander Montgomery's merchant house.
A public edition advertised as Sop's Fables with price 23 8d detailing moral tales and religious benevolence. It includes 140 fables with copper engravings and a prefixed life of B Sop, presented by the printer.
In Dublin in 1742 Christopher Shannon cautions all persons from aiding Mary Shannon wife of his due debts. The text notes her elopement on August 26, actions against his creditors, arrests, and a High Court of Chancery bill filed by Christopher to restrain further acts.
