Plot and politics swirl through Vatican and Europe

The Dusxin Gazette reports on Pope’s audience with the Marquis de Prié and hints at his elevation to Cardinal. It notes galleys loaded with corn to aid Avignon, Spanish bishops backing ecclesiastical immunity, and a Sicily plot with executions. From Lublin, reports describe war councils, marches toward the Iffula, and Czars arriving with notable figures. Copenhagen notes Swedish defense preparations and prisoner counts. Dresden covers prayers for Augustus’s arms and Swedish approach signals, while Berlin reports the Prussian king’s sudden return amid shifting army plans.
