Plans of a canal works threaten frontier waters
M de Bron reported on the canal plans observed at the works and warned Fountainbleau that sustaining the project risks flooding a large portion of the Intendance if war breaks out. The ministry may send troops to demolish the works and set limits on Hungary’s rule.
