Voyage Mutiny Ends in Marks of Treachery and Rescue
An account from Boston in New England describes a mutinous voyage where the Captain and three officers were killed or wounded by the crew. The survivors, including a boatswain, were rescued after the mutineers fled ashore and the vessel carried into Currantree near Surinam. Prisoners were secured by the Governor, and later executions were reported for other mutineers in Surinam.
