Proceedings of the Central Assembly of the Church 1729
The May 3 1729 Edinburgh Assembly approved a gracious letter to His Majesty and arranged renewals and committee reforms. It sent donations to Defiorests via Joseph Cave and urged Presbyteries to support Society Schools, while considering Dundee’s appeal and reporting on Ministerial settlements and the Copenhagen church losses. Also lists naval and government appointments and London health notes, with a Royal visit to Greenwich and Kensington.
