Treaty of Alliance between Empire of Russia and Persia
Petersburg reports a treaty concluded on September 12 between the Russian Emperor and the Persian Supreme Leader via ambassador Isael Beeg. Articles pledge friendship and aid, with Russia to send cavalry and horses to Persia, and Persia cedes Derbent, Baku, and adjacent provinces for permanent support, plus provisions for marching troops.
