Fragmentary 18th Century Notices and Acknowledgments at Dublin
In Dublin on February 16, 1714, a formal appeal signs accommodation between Danish and Polish interests, with mentions of Gottorp and the Crown of Denmark. The issue includes notices of a lord chancellor’s death, stormy seas hindering shipping, a missing gold snuff box for the Dutchess of Shrewsbury, and livestock and property sales notices from Lord Shelburn and others in Meath and Waterford areas offering parcels and estates for sale or lease.
