Zealander vessel cap tured by Spanish forces after resistance
From Caraques coast reports the Zealander Hoc ker, commanded by Capt. Gerrit Heyman, was captured after a five hour stand by two Spanish men of war and two armed barks. This action forced many ships in the area to retreat, hindering trade and harming merchants and local commerce.
