Special To The Journal.OxiWtl, 0., May U.Mrs. Katherine Wellivcr died Sid-. urday evening after an illness of several weeks. Her maiden name was Katherine Wurman. She was horn in October, 1834, and is survived by one son, George C. Welliver, president of-the Or ford National bank, and one grandson, Charles, a lawyer in.InT dianapuiis. Mrs.,Welliver was u devout member of* I lie Presbyterian church arid one of the slaw neb supporters of the Christian faith. Kind and generous always, sin; engrafted herself deep into the hearts of a. host of friends, . Ever ready to he of ser-j vice in time of need, ever conscious and willing lo act in the cause o£ right, she etinie lo be loved and rever* led iu the highest degree: Her passing-is mourned deeply by the entire community.: The funeral serviceswere held this afternoon al two o’clock by Rev. Mr. Eraser and Rev: Mr, Davis.
