Thewlis said her husband, Victor Thewlis, who was formerly a Sunday School superintendent, ordered her to leave home that ho might bring *an affinity there in the person of Mrs. Mary Lincoln, a pretty stenographer. She also alleged that lie used profane language towards her.Thewlis is a man of wealth, formerly having the directorship of the VictorManufacturing Company of Clinton. He and his wife were prominent in social circles.Mrs. Thewlis said she left the house for a short time, after being ordered out, and on her return, she found that Mrs. Lincoln had been there, she declared.She testified her husband then came to Worcester, and that she saw them arm in arm in local cafes and hotels.Her husband is now at the head of a Canadian mill, according to Mrs. Thewlis.Mrs. Lincoln, she said, now lives in Boston.
