A wildfire described as spreading across twenty three miles by six to seven miles devastated Kerrmtert district near Kerriert. Fire began near Er mine eight miles east of Kerriert and swept north east aided by southwest winds. Shanks lost 250 acres of wheat with stock and buildings destroyed except a hartame shack. Milton Rick faced losses of crops as well while many other farms suffered extensive damage before firefighters halted the blaze.

A late Thursday mishap during a beasketbal game left Thelma Mc Gregor with a broken small bone in her left wrist. Annie Kingston rejoined the senior room and is now in second class work. The Students' Literary Society plans a fall report next week with entries in history and algebra.
