Fire damages edge of Airport Motel in Dauphin
A faulty outdoor electrical outlet at the Airport Motel in Dauphin short circuited about 4 30 p m Tuesday igniting a fire that caused about 200 in damage. The blaze damaged outer wall and insulation while interior remained untouched except for smoke odor. Dauphin volunteer fire department arrived quickly to extinguish the fire by removing paneling and dousing the area. Officials said a defective circuit breaker failed to trip during the short circuit.
