Howard KH Bothwell, 20, son of Mr and Mrs James Bothwell of Carrick Pied, died from an accidental shotgun discharge. The incident occurred as he raised the gun toward himself, the blast striking his throat and chest. His funeral Tuesday was held at Union church with large attendance, and burial followed in the Union Church cemetery.
