4600 Volt Charge Burns Hydro Workers
Two hydro workers were burned when a 4600 volt arc passed through them while on power lines near the Dauphin power station. Pat Ferg, 23, of Glenboro, Manitoba, suffered a first degree burn on the head and Marcel Porter of Minnedosa, Manitoba, burned a finger. Ferg was treated at Dauphin hospital and released. the incident started when his head touched a live wire while working on a pole with power off.
