The Tenth Annual Teachers Convention brought together inspectors Fallis Herriott Belton Stevenson and Walkers divisions in Dauphin for a two day meeting. The event discussed history geography spelling and examination roles with sessions in elementary and secondary groups and a public reception with music and speeches. Officers for the next year were named headlined by President R M Stevenson.
Rumors circulate that Geo H Palmer Labour member for Dauphin may resign from the legislature under pressure from railway officials. The issue suggests railway employees are barred from public office and is expected to meet resistance from the parties involved.

R C Smith appealed for funds to cover district assessment costs, and the response was generous.
Dauphin residents packed the auditorium to hear Scotch American tenor David Duggin in a recital demonstrating Edison phonograph fidelity with live and reproduced vocals. Madam Duggin and Miss Margaret Whitaker shared piano and voice, earning hearty acclaim as Wright and Goodhand were praised for presenting notable artists to the Dauphin musical public.

Fanny Helena Nash daughter of Mr and Mrs H H Nash married Eliot Charles Herrick son of Mr and Mrs H E Herrick on Thanksgiving Day Monday Oct 18 at St Pauls Church Winnipeg. ceremony featured white satin gown orange blossom veil and roses. they reside at 107 tenth Avenue Southwest after reception hosted by the Nash family.
