Improved Telephone Service For Ethelbert Rural Subs

Fire Prevention Week Opens At Dauphin Hall

Colored Gas Tax Takes Effect in Manitoba January 1964

Fire Tragedy Strikes Local Mink Farm Near Dauphin
At 4 am on October 3 a fire unknown origin destroyed buildings at the George and Mrs. Brooks mink ranch three miles east of Dauphin. Only 130 male pastels and pearls remain from more than 700 mink raised in five years. The mink were insured but the buildings meat storage and freezer were not insured. Brooks plans new housing and a restart of the farm once plans are ready.
