The Dauphin Horticultural Society adopted a new constitution after approving treasurer and expenses figures showing a 1921-22 surplus of about 66.06. Officers were elected unanimously including J N McFadden as president and J O Spence as treasurer. Plans were set to procure bulbs and plant tulips in fall, including hospital beds, with monthly public meetings and possible winter lectures on gardening.

Better Citizenship League Drives Anti Moderation Effort in Manitoba
D B Harkness of the Social Service Council of Manitoba toured Dolphin area to promote the Better Citizenship League to resist the Moderation League and prevent ill considered legislation. The Moderation League seeks a province wide referendum on government control of liquor under the Initiative and Referendum Act, with a committee to frame arguments in favor.
