Two Men Guilty of Indecent Assault in Local Court
Simon Merker of Ethelbert and Sam Heredelski of Gilbert Plaing appeared before Judge Gonnyeastie last week charged with indecent assault. The complainant was Mary Clark, a girl under 14. Both men were found guilty and fined $100 each.

Death from verandah fall on Iowa farm
H. L. Lower aged 57 employed on Arthur Fisher's farm at Burrows fell from the verandah while putting on storm windows and died of injuries. A Stewart Iowa resident, his body was sent there for interment. Two sons, arriving from the south, reached Dauphin after his death.

A boiler blowout at the electric light plant Tuesday night sprayed scalding water on fireman Thos. Dryden, delaying his duties for about two weeks. The incident left the town without lights for around 45 minutes.
