Jury Finds Natural Causes In Nedelie Death After Car Crash
A Dauphin coroner's jury ruled Alain Nedelie died of natural causes at 73 after injuries from a car collision three weeks earlier. The driver Geo Adams of Waterhen was exonerated. Nedelie was initially struck while walking on a narrow road near Dauphin General Hospital. Dr. R L Gendreau treated him then he died at the hospital. evidence showed Nedelie was in failing health.

Lupak Brothers in Court for Assault at Valley River
In a police court before Magistrate Little on Sunday October 29 three Lupak brothers Harry Nick and Fred appeared charged with assaulting Mike Shewchuk causing bodily harm. Shewchuk sustained a broken nose two black eyes and injuries while Nick and Harry Lupak had head cuts. The case was remanded to Wednesday for the magistrate’s decision. Alex Kingerski pleaded guilty to assaulting Mike Klapkiew and was fined costs totaling 16.40.

Dauphin Agricultural Society Elects Dr Gunne To 13th Term
At the annual Dauphin Agricultural Society meeting in the G W V A hall Dr J R Gunne was elected president for the thirteenth year with W D Strang as vice president and Dr O McGuirk as secretary treasurer The society reported a gross surplus of 375 64 but a net deficit from prior years 1051 54 The group noted a regional fair shift and praised the short course seed grain contests and cattle shows including stall fed beef sales and a royal exhibition link for Ochre River poultry delegates The president highlighted a slight yearly surplus and indicated the financial report would be published later due to space constraints.

Alex Eagle Dies After Long Civic Service In Dauphin
Alexander Eagle age 67 died after a short illness at his Dauphin home. A veteran blacksmith and longtime employer since 1896 his shop became Dauphin’s oldest continuous business. He was a curling club pioneer and life member. Survived by three brothers and three sisters. Funeral held at First Baptist church with large attendance.

At Dauphin General Hospital on November 2 and 6 born to Nick Urbanovitch and Steve Koshowski families a daughter each. Serase and Son Butcher Shop will close all Remembrance Day Saturday November 11 and stay open until 10 30 p.m. Friday November 10.
