The cabaret dance on the second visit drew a large crowd despite earlier fears. Doors opened at 5.45 pm with performances leading to a Home Sweet Home finale. A total of 218 was collected at the door to bolster the society’s war memorial fund.
The opening of a third class Normal on Monday November 1st under Inspector Walker drew 23 pupils, expected to grow over the next two weeks. A list of attendees includes Marguerite Clary, Kathleen Collins, Ida Dixon, Ina Janette, and many others from Dauphin, Roblin, Sifton, and surrounding towns.
