Parks Board Plans Maples Replanting in Dauphin District
The Dauphin Parks Board will replace maples unsuited for the district. Trees planted 20 feet apart and 10 feet from corners for uniform shade areas. Citizens may obtain shade trees for one dollar within two weeks. Arrangements through Robert Fagen at the town office. Horace Atkin and Alex Campbell named supervisors of the tourist camp and the Fifth and Fourth avenues tree nursery.

Fire destroyed the single story frame home of Oliver Chartier in Lovering Park around 8 AM Monday. Cause undetermined. the building and contents valued at about $500. Located about 2,000 feet from the nearest hydrant, the fire brigade could not assist.
